Welcome to the Impulse launch Systems resource pages. Here you will find rocketry related resources and specific information about our company and our products. Everyone loves to talk about the latest rocket kits and many talk about new rocket motors, but no one talks about launch controllers. This makes marketing to rocketeers somewhat difficult. We do buy print advertising in a few publications. Beyond this, it seems to be a matter of showing up at national events, displaying our products and talking to people. Even then, some rocketeers will look me in the eye and state that they don't care at all about launch equipment. The club takes care of that.

Welcome to the Home of Amateur Rocketry Launch Control Systems, Launch Pads, and Safety gear for your launch range. Impulse Launch Systems designs and manufactures our equipment in the USA. We are a small and especially focused business serving the Rocketry Community and educators who use Rocketry in STEM Education.

Since we are small we can customize your order. Do you like what you see, but need something a little different to meet your needs? Ask us and we will see what we can do to make your launch range yours while maintaining high standards for reliability and safety.

Launch Controllers

Our launch controllers include a unique feature – Dual Safety Lockout and a warning siren at the launch pads when the system is armed. There is an  Arm  Safe  switch on the controller base at the launch rack. There is an identical  Arm  Safe  switch on the console at the LCOLaunch Control Officer Table. If the system is switched to ARM with rocketeers still at the pads, a rocketeer may disarm by flipping the  Arm  Safe  switch at the pads to Safe, and call back to the LCO to disarm the system.

Our controllers are designed to be passively safe. There is no action that may be taken at the controller (at the launch pads) that could result in a launch. (read more...)
