Launch Controller Safety Features
From Impulse Launch Systems
Our controllers are designed to be passively safe. There is no action that may be taken at the launch pads that could result in a launch. Continuity checks at the pads only require connection to the Power Pack. Launch may only commence when:
- the controller and console are connected,
- the launch safety key is turned to • ON,
- both units are set to ARM.
A siren sounds to warn people in the area that the system is in an ARMed condition and that a rocket launch is in progress.
