You were spot on with the ROAR NAR #851 launch controller malfunction solution.

Dear Thomas-

Just a brief note to let you know as you suspected the Ethernet cable was indeed the issue for the controller malfunction and a test last evening with a short Ethernet cable confirmed you were absolutely correct in your assessment.

To that end I have ordered two 100 foot waterproof bright yellow Ethernet cables in hopes of making sure nobody accidentally steps on it in the future and that includes me.

As a side note at last Wednesday’s launch I did have two bright yellow, and one black treaded rubber ground wire protectors partly covering your Ethernet cable but with 17 middle school children on the loose near the LCO table and unfortunately a green eight inch ground cover hiding the Ethernet wire perhaps the “accident” was inevitable.

Bottom line I want to thank you for your extraordinary customer relations and kind offer to go out of your way to help us meet our next launch deadline which is less than two weeks away. Tip of the hat indeed!

As noted previously our Section is absolutely delighted with your wired launch system and are very happy that the solution in this case was inexpensive and quickly implemented.

Again very much appreciate your good offices.

Sincerely,

Tom Zachman Senior Advisor ROAR NAR #851
