I started creating the basic design for the wired controllers around August of 2019. Below is a finalized version of the controller which includes continuity peizo beepers in both the console and controller. This change was driven by field observations of the controller in use with FLARE. This was when I realized that a ground conductor was not needed between console and controller. Each function of the console produces a path to ground in the controller. I like writing a Theory of Operation when I am designing because it helps me think through, debug, and simplify the design.
