2023-07-11-Stress Testing Controllers

A recent interaction with a customer led me to consider how we might test our controllers for multi-pad – up to five – simultaneous launches. I decided the best way to test this would be five 1 Amp thermal circuit breakers.

I'm queer for jigs and test equipment, so I purchased five breakers. I still need to make up the tester, but the concept tested out great today. We shipped an HPR-III with a 300ft cable and tested all three pads at once. The test breakers tripped and the master breaker did not.
