We also discussed cutting. I assumed they have a water cutter but Curtis said that they tear up fiberglass cuts. CW use CNC machines to cut fins and a table saw with a Dewalt Concrete saw blade from Lowes Home Improvement. He said that they cut over a thousand pieces before they need to replace the saw blade. | |||
Cutting fiberglass risks mineral fiber contamination which is very hazardous to health, especially to the lungs. We would prefer not to have to tool up with hazmat suits and heavy-duty respirators plus hepa filtered vacuum cleaners for cleanup. It is better to let a specialty shop deal with all of that. | |||
